Aster x frikartii 'Mönch'

This is the true form. A hardy perennial bears large long lasting clear fine petaled lavender blue flowers with a yellow eye. In mid to late summer. Very beautiful. Happy in a sunny site or part shade. 2' high.

Asters / Symphyotrichum are loved by the butterflies and bees of late summer.

Please note these plants are sent out bare root from November to March and in pots from March, in the summer the foliage may have to be cut back and this will delay the flowering.
