Digitalis 'Camelot Lavender'

The Camelot series are perennial F1 hybrids and give beautiful uniform growth habit and long flowering. This one is a delightful colour hard to capture in an image, opening from creamy buds the flowers become a gorgeous pale lavender colour with delicate maroon throat markings. Loved by pollinators. They will grow in the garden border in sun or part shade and can be used to great effect for something different in large pots. The flowers are produced all around the stem and there are many side stems to prolong the show. Cutting out the spent flower stems as they go over encourages even more, 1m high. Best re produced by buying new plants or starting from new F1 seed, which is coated and sent in small test tubes. If you allow your plant to seed the seed it gives you will not represent the parent and is usually not worth the trouble.
