Digitalis purpurea 'Giant Primrose'

Once thought lost to cultivation, this beautiful primrose yellow flowed Foxglove is a real delight. Flowering down one side of the stem, a typical sign of our native Foxglove. These graceful flowering stems show up where ever they are planted and the additional side stems prolong the show. 150cm for sun or part shade.

The seed we offer can be sown anytime from January to September. Sowing between January and April will require slight warmth (15°C to 21°C) to maintain germination. Later sowings from April to September will not require artificial heat, they will require protection from sudden downpours or extremes of temperature.
