Digitalis x mertonensis

The earliest hybrid Foxglove. A hardy tetraploid that comes true from seed. It has a robust dark green foliage and strong flowering stems, individually the largest flowers of any Foxglove. The crushed strawberry pink colour is quite unique to this family. Can be divided in the spring like many other perennials but seed is the easiest way to propagate. 60cm to 80cm for sun or part shade.
