Hydrangea aspera 'Strigosa'

Hardy shrub collected from an island off the coast of Japan. This form has delightfully elegant linear foliage. Blue pink flowers and mauve bracts. Average soils 4'+ deciduous. Light shade in average to good soils.

The plants may be trimmed to send out, if we need to do this in the summer months then the flowering stem may be cut back resulting in less or no flowers in its first year with you. The plant will establish well however and be all the better for it.
