Hydrangea macrophylla 'Izu No Hana'

A delightfuly free flowering lace cap Hydrangea. This one has such pretty shapely flowers of rose pink (on acidic soils they will be a lovely sky blue) 1m high. Preferring a shadier site and good soils, they will grow in sun when the soil is good and not dry.

They can be pruned in late summer if you want to, just dead head and remove surplus stems, rather than cut everything back.
