Salvia 'Hot Lips'
This shrub certainly has the best name, white flowers with a red lip. Hardy semi evergreen shrub, very floriferous, often seen as a large ungainly shrub, but that’s just because no one has pruned it, probably not told how to when first purchased. Trim back the tips frequently and prune to shape whilst still flowering through the summer. Reduce by a third in Autumn. In pots these Salvia are hungry and need a lot of feeding.

Salvias sent out in summer and early autumn will be trimmed back, but will quickly re-flower to give you a superb display into the autumn
