Salvia 'Waverley'
This herbaceous woody perennial is another late flowering sort. Tall stems up to around 120cm great for the back of the sunny border. Deeply veined darker leaves purple stubby calyx from which a lavender pink flower appears. Tall arching growth, one of our favourites along with its cousin Phyllis Fancy. We can keep both outside with mulched crowns, regrows from old wood or the base depending on how cold the winter has been.

Salvia sent out in summer may be trimmed back, but will quickly re-flower to give you a superb display into the autumn
